The CFL According to Jon is run by Jonathan Hamelin. Hamelin is a die-hard fan of the Canadian Football League, the Saskatchewan Roughriders in particular. He also runs a magazine on the CFL called "Fans of the CFL". The CFL According to Jon will give fans game previews, game recaps, and analysis on the game. It will also include the latest standings, stats, scores and guest work from other CFL writers.Hamelin is an aspiring journalist who hopes to one day break into the print journalism field.
In his first year of University, Hamelin currently works for the Regina Leader Post, where he does small sports writeups. He recently had hist first freelance article published in the Leader Post. Hamelin also writes for the University of Regina newspaper, the Carillon. He contributes a weekly Saskatchewan Roughriders column along wth other stories.
When he had more time, Hamelin had the privellege of writing a number of online sports columns, on sites such as http://www.riderfans.com/, http://www.riderprider.com/ and http://www.sports-central.org/. Hamelin has also had the opportunity to write for his school newspaper in highschool and attend a writing conference that he covered as a journalist.
